England vs. Pakistan T20 World Cup Final 2022: England won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup final on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Both teams had not changed from the semi-finals. Pakistan scored 137 in their allotted 20 overs.
Star all-rounder Ben Stokes, who also played a key role in England’s World Cup victory, hit the winning runs and scored his first T20I half-century. He finished with 52 points on 49 balls. When Pakistan increased the pressure, it appeared that they would be able to defend the total, but Stokes and Moeen Ali turned it around with some big hits in the final five overs.
Previously, Sam Curran had led the way for England with figures of 3/12.
