Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Ministry of Education’s Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) program set a Guinness World Record for registering the “Most people on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month.” With 3.53 crore valid registrations on the MyGov platform during the 8th PPC edition in 2025, the record was set.
Since 2020, the Education Ministry has invested Rs 64.38 crore in PM Modi’s Pariksha Pe Charcha.
Every year, before exams, the Prime Minister engages with parents, teachers, and students through the PPC program. It was started in 2018 with the goal of encouraging stress-free test preparation and has now grown into a platform for student interaction across the country.
Sharing the recognition, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan posted on X, saying, “A matter of great delight and personal satisfaction to accept the Guinness World Record for ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ with Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw and Shri @JitinPrasada. #PPC2025 has set a world record with 3.53 crore+ registrations and over 21 crore viewership on television.”

Over 21 crore people watched Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 on a variety of media platforms, according to the Ministry. According to Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the program is a redesigned exam format that supports the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s emphasis on emotional health and holistic learning.
The initiative’s function in fostering mindfulness and lowering academic stress was also emphasized by Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who described the record-breaking participation as evidence of the public’s faith in the program.
