Republic Day 2026 parade tickets: The Ministry of Defence has launched ticket sales for the Republic Day Parade in 2026. According to the circular, the entire dress rehearsal and ceremony for the Beating Retreat will commence on January 5, 2026, according to the Press Information Bureau (PIB).

The iconic Republic Day celebrations will be held on January 26, followed by the complete dress rehearsal of the Beating Retreat on January 28, and the major beating retreat event on January 29.

Tickets prices to attend Republic Day parade

For the Republic Day Parade on January 26, tickets will be offered in two denominations: Rs 20 and Rs 100.

Tickets for the full dress rehearsal of the beating retreat on January 28 will cost Rs 20, while tickets for the Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29 will be priced at Rs 100.

The tickets will be sold from January 5 to January 14, 2026. Tickets for the parade will be available daily from 9 am onwards and will be sold until the quota for the day is exhausted.

Tickets can also be booked online through the Ministry of Defence’s official portal http://www.aamantran.mod.gov.in.

How to book online and offline tickets 

After visiting the website, users need to register using their mobile number, choose the desired event, enter photo ID details, complete the payment, and download the e-ticket for entry.

Offline tickets are also available from designated counters in Delhi between January 5 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 2 p.m. to 5 p.

The six offline sites are Sena Bhawan (near Gate No. 5), Shastri Bhawan (near Gate No. 3), Jantar Mantar (main gate), Parliament House (reception), Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (D Block, between Gates 3 and 4), and Kashmere Gate Metro Station (concourse level, near Gate No. 8).

Documents to keep to buy tickets

When purchasing tickets, buyers must present an original photo identity card such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driver’s Licence, PAN Card, Passport, or any other Central/State Government issued ID. The same ID must be presented on the day of the event for admittance into the Republic Day Parade, full dress rehearsal of the beating retreat, and the Beating Retreat Ceremony.

Entry will not be permitted without a valid ticket and an original photo ID.
