Stock Market Highlights on Wednesday, June 24, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex closed significantly higher as IT, real estate, banking, and financial equities rallied.
The Nifty50 closed 0.83 percent higher, or 197.55 points, at 24,021.65, while the Sensex advanced 1.04 percent, or 790.54 points, to 76,991.22.
The biggest gainers in the Nifty50 index were InterGlobe Aviation, Adani Enterprises, and Trent.
In the broader market, the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap closed 0.10 percent and 0.39 percent higher, respectively.
Sector-wise, the Nifty IT and Nifty Realty outperformed by more than 2%. The Nifty Bank and Nifty Private Bank also did well. Meanwhile, the Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal fell the most.
