Stock Market Highlights on Friday, July 10, 2026: The Nifty50 and Sensex continued to rise as PSU bank and real estate shares gained traction. Global equities rose sharply as chip stocks rebounded, supporting local indices.
The Sensex surged 828 points, or 1.08 percent, to 77,569.39, while the Nifty50 closed 244.10 points, or 1.02 percent, higher at 24,206.90.
Jio Financial Services, HDFC Life Insurance Company, and SBI Life Insurance Company were the biggest gainers on the Nifty50 index.
In the broader markets, the Nifty MidCap and Nifty SmallCap closed 1.4% and 1.55% higher, respectively.
The Nifty Realty sector saw the greatest increase. The Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty IT both outperformed. Meanwhile, the Nifty FMCG fell the most.
