Share Market Highlights: Nifty hits fresh record high at 20000, Sensex ends over 67100

The NSE Nifty closed at a fresh high of 19,996.35, a tremendous increase of 176.4 points. The Sensex rose 0.78% to 67,127.08. The robust momentum in Reliance Industries (RIL) and banking equities drove today’s market activity. Notably, Adani Ports emerged as the Nifty pack’s best performance, jumping by 7%. The Nifty 50 gained 0.89%, while the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 gained 1.14% and 1.33%, respectively. The broader markets finished in the black. Bank Nifty increased by 0.92%.
