Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: After a day of flat trade on weekly F&O expiry amid weak global cues, Indian benchmark indices ended the session mildly in the green. The Sensex closed more than 180 points higher at 62,570, while the Nifty closed at 18,613, up 0.28%. The broader markets finished slightly higher as well, with the Nifty Midcap 100 up 0.6%. Nifty Pharma was the day’s biggest laggard, while Nifty PSU Bank surged 3.55%. Sun Pharma, Power Grid, Divis Lab, HDFC Life, and TCS were among the major gainers on the Nifty, while Larsen and Toubro, Eicher Motors, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, and Hindalco were among the laggards.
