Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: With the support of PSU Bank and Realty stocks, the main equity indices finished Thursday’s trading session in the green. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 0.59% to 19,727.05, while the BSE Sensex rose 385.04 points to 66,265.56. Bank Nifty reversed its trend and rose 1.06% to 44,878.35. The major indicators were mostly in the green. Among the sectoral indexes, Realty, PSU Bank, and Media companies led the gains, while FMCG and Pharma stocks suffered some reversal. The market’s relative volatility was greater, with the VIX closing up 1.82%.
Wall Street’s three major averages closed lower on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a 0.57% drop, the S&P 500 saw a 0.70% decrease, and the Nasdaq index tumbled 1.06%.
