Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Benchmarks for the domestic equity market the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 both ended the weekly futures and options expiry session with losses. The S&P BSE Sensex fell 98 points, or 0.18 percent, to 53,416 while the NSE Nifty 50 index fell 28 points, or 0.18 percent, to 15,938. The Bank Nifty ended 0.51 percent lower, and the broader markets followed suit. On the closing bell, the India VIX was also in the red, hovering above 18 levels. Sun Pharma led the Sensex gainers with a 2.55 percent gain, followed by Dr Reddy’s and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Axis Bank was the Sensex’s worst performer, followed by HCL Tech and State Bank of India.
