Today’s Stock Market Highlights | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: On Wednesday, domestic stock markets experienced a volatile trading session, with headline indices swinging between gains and losses. At the end of the day, the S&P BSE Sensex rose 54 points, or 0.9%, to 59,085 while the NSE Nifty 50 index rose 27 points, or 0.16%, to 17,604. The Bank Nifty gained 0.88% to close above 39,000, while the India VIX fell 3% to settle at 18.43. Tata Steel led the Sensex laggards with a 1.26% drop, followed by Titan and TCS — all Tata group stocks. IndusInd Bank was the top gainer, up 2.9%, followed by NTPC and ICICI Bank.
