Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: For the fourth consecutive session, Indian benchmark indices ended today’s volatile session in the green, with the Nifty closing above 17,500. The BSE Sensex finished 146.59 points, or 0.25% higher, at 59,107.19, while the NSE Nifty 50 finished 25.30 points, or 0.14% higher, at 17512.30. The top Nifty gainers included HDFC, Nestle India, ITC, Reliance Industries, and Axis Bank, while the top losers included NTPC, JSW Steel, SBI, Bajaj Finserv, and Coal India. Metals and power stocks both fell 1%, while the FMCG and Realty indices finished in the green. The BSE midcap and smallcap indices finished flat in broader markets. The rupee closed at a new record low of 83 per dollar against previous close of 82.36.
