Share Market Highlights: Sensex falls 1%, Nifty ends below 18100; All sectoral, broder indices in red

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Stock Prices Highlights: Domestic indices ended Wednesday’s session in the red, owing to mixed sentiments in global markets. The BSE Sensex fell 636.75 points to 60,657.45, while the NSE Nifty fell 189.60 points to 18,042.95. All of the major market indices finished in the red. The Nifty Next 50 fell 1.04%, the Nifty Midcap 50 fell 1.10%, the Nifty Large Midcap 250 fell 1%, and the Nifty Total Market fell 1.06%. All of the sectoral indices also ended in the red. The Nifty Bank fell 1.07%, the Nifty IT fell 0.98%, and the Nifty FMCG fell 0.66%. The India VIX volatility index increased by 5.64%.
