Share Market Highlights: Sensex gains 550 pts, Nifty ends near 17,500

Today’s Share Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Price Highlights: Indian benchmark indices ended on a positive note for the third consecutive session, with the Nifty closing near 17500. The BSE Sensex finished 549.62 points or 0.94% higher at 58,960.60, while the Nifty finished 175.20 points or 1.01% higher at 17,487. The top Nifty gainers included SBI, Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Nestle India, and SBI Life Insurance, while the top losers included NTPC, HDFC, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra, and Britannia Industries. FMCG, auto, capital goods, power, PSU bank, and real estate are all up 1-4 percent. The BSE midcap and smallcap indices rose 0.7-1 percent in the broader markets.
