Share Market Highlights: Sensex jumps 150 pts, Nifty ends above 18800

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indexes recovered all of their intraday losses and finished the day in the green. The NSE Nifty 50 increased by 61.25 points, or 0.33%, to 18,816.70, while the BSE Sensex increased by 159.40 points, or 0.25%, to 63,327.70. Bank Nifty jumped 132.75 points or 0.30% to 43,766.50, Nifty Auto rose 0.74%, Nifty IT rose 0.78%, Nifty Media lost 1.22%, and Nifty Pharma fell 0.19%. Tata Motors, HCL Tech, Power Grid, HDFC Life, and Eicher Motors were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, Mahindra & Mahindra, and BPCL were the top losers.

Asian markets trade in red

Asian markets were trading broadly in red – Hong Kong’s Hang Seng tanked 1.07%, China’s Shanghai Composite index dipped 0.24%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 tumbled 0.50%, South Korea’s KOSPI fell 0.35%, and Asia Dow plunged 0.63%.
