Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: The Indian benchmark indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 set new intraday highs before paring some gains to close at record highs. While the Sensex rose 347.9 points or 0.56% to a high of 62,686.84 before closing at 62,504, the Nifty 50 index rose around 90 points to a new record high of 18,611.05 before closing at 18,562. Bank Nifty was trading in the green and finished at 43,020. The top Sensex gainers were Reliance Industries and BPCL. The broader market was in the green, while the Nifty’s sectoral indices fluctuated between gains and losses. The Nifty Metal fell the most, falling 1.19%, while the Nifty Oil & Gas rose 1.36%. India VIX, ended up 1.2% at 13.49.
