Shri Narendra Modi Swear-In As PM Along With 71 Ministers At Rashtrapati Bhavan

Shri Narendra Modi today took oath as the Prime Minister of India for his third consecutive term at a ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. President Smt Droupadi Murmu administered the oath to the Prime Minister and his ministerial colleagues.

With this, Modi became the first leader after former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to be elected for a third consecutive term. Along with Modi, 71 council of ministers (which include 30 Cabinet ministers, 5 Ministers of State-Independent Charge, and 36 Ministers of State) also took oath on sunday.

The Prime Minister posted on X :

“Took oath as Prime Minister at the ceremony earlier this evening. I look forward to serving 140 crore Indians and working with the Council of Ministers to take India to new heights of progress.
