The Odisha Legislative Assembly will have a special meeting on April 30 to address women’s engagement in Indian democracy. The Assembly Secretary has sent a notification informing all members of the House about the session.
The special discussion will focus on women’s roles and representation in democratic processes.
The decision comes amid an ongoing national discussion about women’s political participation following the failure of the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
