On Wednesday, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi distributed the first installment of funds for the Subhadra Yojana’s second phase. He was at a Chhau Padia ceremony in Baripada town when he handed out the money.
According to sources, the money was then credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, as well as other ministers and secretaries from the state administration, attended the function.
Today, more than 35 lakh beneficiaries received their first Subhadra Yojana instalment payment in the second phase.
In the first phase, 25 lakh women received their first instalment. So far, one crore twenty thousand women beneficiaries have registered for the Subhadra Yojana.
It is important to note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Subhadra Yojana last September 17. In the first phase, around 25 lakh beneficiaries were provided the Subhadra Yojana amount.
The money has been credited to the accounts of more than 35 lakh beneficiaries today. By December, more than 1 crore women beneficiaries will get Subhadra Yojana financial amount.
