Thunderstorm likely to lash these Odisha districts today

Today, a thunderstorm with gusty surface wind may occur in several districts of Odisha, providing relief from the heat wave conditions.

“Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty surface wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two locations over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj,” the Regional Meteorological Centre here predicted.

“Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh and Deogarh,” it added.

Temperature Forecast: There will be no significant change in maximum temperature (day temperature) over the districts of Odisha over the next 4 to 5 days.
