UGC NET December 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the UGC NET December 2025 city notification slip. The UGC NET December 2025 test is scheduled to take place from December 31 to January 7, 2026. The city slip will be made available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The paper will tell candidates about the city where their examination will take place, allowing them to organize their trip and accommodations ahead of time. Candidates must enter their application number and date of birth to download the UGC NET city intimation slip.

It is vital to note that the city slip is not identical to the UGC NET admission card. The admit card, which includes information such as the exam center address, reporting time, and instructions, is likely to be distributed three to four days before the exam date.
However, after the admit card is available, candidates should carefully examine all of the information on it. Key details to check are the candidate’s name, date of birth, application number, category, subject, test city, photograph, and signature. In the event of any discrepancies, candidates should alert the authorities promptly.
Do students need to carry city-slip on exam-day?
Candidates must bring a printed copy of their UGC NET admit card, as well as the self-declaration form, to the exam. They must also carry one valid picture ID, a ballpoint pen, an extra passport-sized photograph, personal hand sanitizer, and a transparent water bottle, according to exam-day requirements.
Meanwhile, the NTA has confirmed that the UGC NET exam, planned for December 31, will be held in a single shift. The exam will take place on that day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., with no second shift planned.
