BSE Odisha Class 10th Board Exams 2021 has been cancelled as a result of COVID surge within the state. Results of Class 10 students to be prepared by the Board on basis of objective criteria. The announcement has come to an impact as the cases of COVID 19 raises concern within the state and students urges the cancellation of class 10 examinations. Lastly, government took decision on the cancellation of BSE Odisha Class 10th Board Exams 2021.
The official announcement reads, “The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Wednesday canceled the class 10th board exams for 2021 throughout all schools in state in wake of the surge in Covid cases. Results of Class 10 students to be ready by the Board on basis of objective criteria: State Education Minister”.
Earlier, BSE Odisha suspended the class 10, 12 examinations and didn’t clarify whether or not the examination will be held in the coming days or cancelled. The students argued that there is no clarity by the board or the state government on Odisha 10TH Board Exams 2021. Students also met School and Mass Education Minister S R Dash before marching towards the CM’s residence.
Failing to get any clarity, the students later moved towards CM Naveen Patnaik’s residence to put forth their demand on the cancellation of Odisha 10TH Board Exams 2021. Unable to meet the CM, the agitating students later staged a dharna on the road.
Keeping in view the surge in COVID 19 cases, the BSE Odisha Class 10th Board Exams 2021 have been cancelled today on April 21, 2021. Results to be prepared on basis of objective criteria. However, students and peers are advised to keep a check on the official announcements from time to time for BSE Odisha Class 10th Board Exams 2021.
