Bhubaneswar: The COVID toll in Odisha mounted to 3,123 on Wednesday with 43 more patients succumbing to the deadly disease within the last 24 hours.
In accordance with Health Department sources, the fatalities have been reported from 18 districts.
Khurda saw the highest of 5 deaths followed by 4 each from Angul, Cuttack, Jharsuguda, and Sundargarh, three each from Bargarh, Balangir, and Boudh, two each from Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, and Puri and one each from Balasore, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Koraput, Nuapada, Rayagada, and Sambalpur.
