Odisha reports 2070 new Covid-19 cases and 64 more died of Covid-19

Bhubaneswar: Another 2070 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected in Odisha till midnight of Thursday, reported the Information & Public Relations Department on Friday.

Among the new cases, 1195 are in quarantine and 875 are local contacts. With this, the total number of positive cases in Odisha now stands at 949929. District-wise details of the new cases are as below.

Another 64 Covid positive patients in Odisha have succumbed to the disease. 1 each is from the districts Boudh, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Puri, and Rayagada; 2 each from Kandhamal and Sambalpur; 6 from Ganjam; 7 from Sundargarh; 8 from Balasore, 10 from Bargarh; and 22 from Khordha.
