Bhubaneswar: Another 2182 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha in last 24 hours taking the total caseload to 9,52,111.
Total 73,027 samples have been tested yesterday with the Total Positivity Rate (TPR) remaining 2.98.
Of the fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1258 are quarantine cases and 924 local contact cases.
Khordha district recorded highest 510 cases followed by Cuttack (308) and Jajpur (175).
67 more COVID fatalities have been reported in Odisha today. With this, the the state’s toll surged to 4,992.
Highest 25 COVID deaths have been reported from Khordha district followed by 8 from Ganjam, 7 from Sundargarh, 6 each from Puri and Mayurbhanj, 4 from Bargarh, 3 from Nayagarh and 1 each from Angul, Bhadrak, Boudh Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.
