Odisha registered 681 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours, of which 118 people between 0-18 age group were new infectees, informed the State Information & Public Relation Department today.
Of fresh cases in 26 districts, 398 were reported from different quarantine centres and 283 were the local contacts.
Khordha district continues to stand top in terms of daily Covid infection with 222 cases followed by Cuttack district with 101 cases in last 24 hours.
Except these two districts, the remaining 24 districts registered below 100 single-day cases.
Total 67,229 samples were tested yesterday. With 681 fresh cases, the Covid TPR stands at 1.01% in the State.

Another five persons have succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha, confirmed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Saturday.
Among the deceased persons, 1 each is from the districts of Bhadrak, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Khordha, and Nabarangpur.
