Maruti Suzuki’s new flagship SUV will be the Grand Vitara 2022.
Maruti Suzuki’s recently unveiled Grand Vitara will enter the mid-size SUV segment. The SUV’s price has not yet been revealed, but we anticipate its release during the holiday season. The manufacturer has released a Grand Vitara brochure with variant-specific feature details. The Grand Vitara 2022 will be available in six different configurations. Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+ will be available. The Smart Hybrid will be available on Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha frequencies, while the Intelligent Electric Hybrid will be available on Zeta+ and Alpha+ frequencies.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sigma
The Grand Vitara’s base variant is the Sigma. It is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. It has a rear spoiler, LED DRLs with positioning lamps, an LED tail lamp, bi-halogen projector headlamps, and a dual-tone interior with silver inserts. The driver receives a steering wheel with audio controls, keyless entry, an engine start/stop button, and an auto up/down driver window. Automatic climate control and power windows are also available.
Dual airbags, rear parking sensors, Electronic Stability Program, Hill Hold Assist, speed warning, and ISOFIX child seat mounts would be included for safety. This is an adequate feature set, particularly for a base variant.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Delta
The Delta variant is positioned above the Sigma variant. This variant adds Suzuki Connect, cruise control, SmartPlay Pro infotainment system and rear parking camera.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Zeta
The Zeta variant comes next. It includes a chrome belt line garnish, follow-me-home headlights, an intermittent front wiper, a rear wiper with washer, a soft-touch dashboard, and ambient lighting. Auto-folding ORVMs, a SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, and an Arkamys sound system are also available from Maruti. LEDs replace halogens in the projector headlamps, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels are standard. As with the Zeta, the safety quotient has been improved. Maruti now offers 6 airbags.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Alpha
The Alpha variant is the most expensive and comes with the Smart Hybrid engine. Maruti also provides AllGrip all-wheel drive, hill descent control, and drive modes with the manual transmission. Roof rails, automatic IRVM, black skid plates, leatherette seats and steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and a 360-degree camera are standard features.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Zeta+
The Intelligent Electric Hybrid engine is available in Zeta+ variants. This variant is immediately below the top-tier variant. Silver roof rails, dark grey skid plates, an all-black interior with bronze inserts, a digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, and a wireless charger are standard.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Alpha+
The Grand Vitara’s top-tier variant is the Alpha+. Leatherette seats and steering wheel, front ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a premium sound system are all included.
