TVS Motor Company has expanded its electric scooter line by introducing a new, more competent form of the TVS iQube, bolstering its position in India’s rapidly rising EV market.
TVS iQube S 4.7kWh price and range
The new TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,37,142 (Delhi, including subsidies). With this improvement, the company hopes to provide more range and flexibility to urban riders while maintaining the familiar use that has helped the iQube become a popular family EV.
At the heart of the update is a larger 4.7 kWh battery pack, which delivers an IDC-certified range of 175 km.
Performance and hardware
The iQube S continues with a BLDC hub-mounted motor producing 6bhp and 140Nm, enabling a 0–40kmph sprint in 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 82kmph.
It also gets a reverse mode, adding to everyday convenience.
Charging from 0–80 percent takes around 4 hours, making it practical for regular urban usage.
Underpinnings remain straightforward and functional:
- Tubular frame
- Telescopic front suspension
- Adjustable twin rear shock absorbers
- 220mm front disc and 130mm rear drum brakes
The scooter weighs 128.8 kg, with a ground clearance of 157 mm and a seat height of 770 mm, keeping it accessible for a wide range of riders.
Design and features
While the overall design remains unchanged, TVS has introduced new dual-tone colour options:
- Magnificence Purple Beige
- Harlequin Blue Beige
- Titanium Grey Matte
On the feature front, the scooter continues to offer a 7-inch TFT display with:
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Incoming call alerts
- USB charging
The iQube series has now reached 9,00,000 clients and is currently available in over 1,000 locations and 3,300 dealerships in India. With the release of the 4.7 kWh model, TVS doubles down on its approach of providing additional range, functionality, and style options while maintaining ease of use and dependability.
