Citroen India has launched the facelifted version of the C5 Aircross in India at ₹36,67,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) (ex-showroom Delhi). The C5 Aircross is the flagship SUV in the Indian market right now. Citroen has revamped the exterior as well as the interior of the C5 Aircross. It is only available in one color scheme, Shine, which has a dual-tone paint scheme. The facelifted C5 Aircross SUV receives updated cosmetics as well as a slew of new features.
The new Citroen C5 Aircross Facelift has a revised front fascia with a conventional headlamp setup rather than the split version of the pre-lift model. It also gets twin LED DRLs, new bumpers, body cladding, and alloy wheels. This mid-size SUV gets a major overhaul along with a bunch of new features.
The facelifted Citroen C5 Aircross sports a new layout for the dashboard with a free-standing 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It gets Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity. Furthermore, the SUV has Citroen’s progressive hydraulic cushion suspension and 15 mm extra padding in the seats for enhanced ride comfort, as well as heating and cooling functions.
Mechanically, the Citroen C5 Aircross remains unchanged. A 2.0-litre diesel engine with 175 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque powers this mid-size SUV. It’s paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Citroen C5 Aircross Facelift 2022 will compete with the likes of the new-generation Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, and others.
