Maruti Suzuki’s latest Grand Vitara SUV has finally been launched in the country, with an ex-showroom price of Rs. 10.45 lakh. It was recently revealed that this Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos rival has already received over 53,000 reservations.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is the sister SUV to Toyota’s recently released Urban Cruiser Hyryder. It has a bold exterior that blends well with sophisticated interiors, as well as a variety of technologically advanced safety features. Suzuki’s acclaimed K-series 1.5-litre Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine powers the Grand Vitara with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology, which claims to deliver up to 21.11km/l of fuel efficiency.
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be offered with a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Smart Hybrid model has a dual battery setup and features Brake Energy Regeneration, Torque Assist, and Idle Stop-Start.

It is available with an e-CVT transmission and has the best fuel efficiency in its class at 27.97 km/l.
Maruti Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid variants are also available, with prices ranging from Rs.17.99 lakh to Rs.19.65 lakh. It comes with a special introductory package that includes a 5 year/1 lakh km extended warranty and a PRISTINE Genuine NEXA Accessory pack. This special introductory package is valued at more than ₹67 000.
Some of the features of Maruti Suzuki’s new SUV include a colored heads-up display, a 360-degree parking camera system, and ventilated seats. Another notable feature of the SUV is the ALLGRIP SELECT technology, which is said to provide the inherent values of “fun to drive” and “peace of mind” by allowing the driver to select one of four driving modes – Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock. The price of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara ALLGRIP SELECT Alpha is Rs. 16.89 lakh. It has a fuel efficiency of 19.38 km/l and features such as a panoramic sunroof with dual sliding panes, a wireless phone charging dock, a colored head-up display, a 360-degree parking camera system, in-built Suzuki Connect technology, a Smart Play Pro+ Infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and more.
