In the Indian market, Keeway has debuted the all-new SR 125. The 2022 Keeway SR 125 has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.19 lakh. Bookings for the same are now officially open. For a nominal fee of Rs 1,000, one can reserve this motorcycle online through the company’s website or by visiting their nearest Keeway-Benelli dealership.
Test rides for the Keeway SR 125 are expected to begin in mid-October, with deliveries beginning at the end of the month. It’s worth noting that the SR 125 is Keeway’s seventh model in India in the last five months. The SR 125, positioned as an entry-level motorcycle, features retro design language and will be available in three color options. They are – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Red.
The Keeway SR 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel-injected engine producing 9.5 bhp at 9,000 RPM and 8.2 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers are standard. The motorcycle has disc brakes on both ends and a combined braking system.
