The National Medical Commission has announced some exciting news for MBBS students. If you qualified for NEET UG 2022 this year and are attending MCC NEET UG Counseling, you should be aware of the upcoming course schedule. NMC has provided information ranging from the start date of classes to the examination schedule for new MBBS students. The NMC has published the MBBS Academic Calendar 2022. According to this, the MBB First Semester 2022 class will begin on November 15.
The National Medical Commission has also made an announcement regarding electives official website is nmc.org.in. However, according to the published guidelines, two blocks of MBBS electives will be created for the Pre-Paraclinical Branch and the Clinical Branch, each lasting 15-15 days.
NMC guidelines for MBBS batch 2022-23
- The guidelines state that exam and vacation schedule notifications are subject to change and will be arranged in accordance with the affiliated universities.
- In terms of electives, respective colleges must adjust two blocks of 15 days each for preclinical and/or paraclinical branches and clinical branches.
- Supplementary exams will be held one month after regular exams, with results to be announced within 15 days.
- There will be no additional batches.
- The remaining guidelines will follow the Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) of 1997.
