Skoda Auto India has had a very successful calendar year, and one of the major reasons for this has been the decision to opt for high localization of the parts content. The company’s India 2.0 project has seen incredible cumulative sales of 44,500 units. Because of such unit sales, India has surpassed China to become Skoda’s largest market outside of Europe. The SUV Kushaq, which played a pivotal role in changing the Czech Republic carmaker’s fortunes in India, is the first vehicle to be released under the new ambitious project.
As a result, the SUV has now been in production for a year, and the automaker has just released the Kushaq Anniversary Edition.
The Kushaq also received a 5-star GNCAP safety rating, making it the first SUV in its class to outperform safety protocols for both front and rear passengers, including children. Let’s take a look at the extras that this special variant receives.
Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition: Design and exteriors
The Anniversary edition features an abundance of chrome garnishing, which will appeal to Indian customers because it gives the vehicle a premium appearance. The all-chrome front grille, with its butterfly-like outside rim housing thick vertical slats, will immediately catch the eye. Moving on to the side profile, the windows now have additional visors, and the chrome touch-up on the lower panel of the doors and the door handles continues. To make sure everyone knows you’re driving the Anniversary Edition, the C-pillar has graphics stating so. The rear design is the same as the standard Kushaq, with the exception of the extended roof spoiler.

Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition: Cabin
Despite the fact that the Anniversary Edition now has a 10-inch infotainment system, the dual-tone interiors remain unchanged. It has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, as well as a six-speaker music system with a subwoofer. The two-spoke steering wheel, on the other hand, receives an Anniversary Edition badge.
