Citroen made its India debut in July with the launch of the C3 hatchback. It debuted its second vehicle in the country, the C5 Aircross Facelift, in September. Now, the company is preparing to introduce an electric version of the C3 in India, and has named it eC3.
According to reports, the eC3 will make its debut in India in January at the Auto Expo in New Delhi.
Citroen eC3: Features to Expect
While no specifics have been released, the eC3 is expected to have a 30.2 kWh battery pack and an engine unit with a peak power of 86 bhp and a maximum torque of 143 Nm. It will be built on the same Common Modular Platform (CMP) as the original version of the car.
Furthermore, the electric car is expected to be assembled locally.
