Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has released an updated version of the Activa 125. The 2023 Honda Activa 125 has been launched in India with an ex-showroom price of Rs 78,920. It receives an OBD-2 compliant engine to meet new emission standards, as well as some new features such as the H-Smart key. The prices of this scooter’s variants are listed in the table below.

The 2023 Honda Activa 125 is available in four variants, with ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs 78,920 to Rs 88,093. The latest update brings the Activa 125 a new H-Smart variant with features first seen on Honda’s best-selling scooter, the Activa 6G. The Activa 125 will compete with other 125cc scooters such as the Suzuki Access 125, Hero Maestro Edge, and others.
2023 Honda Activa 125: What’s new?
The Honda Activa 125 now comes in an H-Smart trim level with a smart key system that includes Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, and Smart Safe features. It also has an immobilizer that prevents a key that has not been registered from starting the engine. Honda has also updated its instrument cluster, and the MID on the dash now displays the total trip, clock, Eco indicator, and other fuel efficiency-related data.
2023 Honda Activa 125: Engine and gearbox
The 2023 Honda Activa 125 is powered by a 123.97cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine with a CVT that produces 8.19 bhp at 6,250 RPM and 10.4 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. This engine is now OBD-2 compliant in order to meet the new emission standards that will take effect in April of this year, and it can also run on E20 fuel.
