JEE Main Admit Card 2023, Session 2: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 session 2 today or tomorrow. Candidates who have registered for the JEE Main April session 2 can access their admit cards at jeemain.nta.nic.in, the official JEE Main website.
Session 2 exams will be held on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12. The JEE Main reserve dates are April 13 and 15. The JEE Main 2023 exam will be held twice instead of four times this time. While it is not required to appear for both sessions, students who took the session 1 exam can retake the April session exams, provided they registered for it. If a student appears for both sessions, their best score will be considered while preparing the merit list.
8.60 lakh students registered for the session 1 exam, with 8.23 lakh (95.80%) candidates taking the entrance exams. A total of 20 candidates received a perfect score, with 14 from the general category, four from the OBC-NCL category, and one each from the general-EWS and SC categories.
The Joint Entrance Exam (Main) will be conducted in 13 languages. The languages are- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
JEE Main 2023, Session 2: Pattern of examination
The BE/ BTech paper will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode. All three subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will have two sections. Section A will have 20 questions, section B will have 10 questions. All three subjects will be for 100 marks each. The total paper will be of 300 marks.
JEE Main 2023, Session 2: Marking scheme for BE/ BTech paper
The BE/ BTech paper will have a total of 90 questions for 300 marks. Section A will have 20 multiple choice questions, section B will 10 questions whose answers are to be filled in numerical value, in section B only 5 out 10 questions have to be answered. Each question will be for four marks, for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted. If a question will be left unanswered the candidate will get 0 marks.
