Nearly 14 lakh students are awaiting their Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 results, which will most likely be issued on Monday (July 17), according to University Grants Commission Chief M Jagadesh Kumar.
“We are trying to release the CUET UG result maximum by Monday. NTA has been tirelessly trying to release the results as soon as possible, so it can also release by Sunday, but if it is delayed by a few hours, students should not worry,” he said.
When asked what has caused delay in the CUET UG result, the UGC Chief explained that “since the database is huge, it is a big responsibility and the NTA has to ensure that no data is mismatched or skipped. The data, score and all details have to be carefully evaluated and compiled. This whole process takes time, and even though we are trying to release the scorecards as soon as possible, a slight delay can be possible,” he explained.
Once released, candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results at the official website— cuet.samarth.ac.in.
This year, approximately 13.99 lakh students registered for the CUET UG exam, a huge rise from the previous year. There are 6.51 lakh female candidates and 7.48 lakh male candidates among the 13.99 lakh applicants.
