NEET UG 2023 Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the seat matrix for phase 2 of the National Eligibility Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023). MBBS applicants can view the seat matrix on the MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
The MCC official website now provides a PDF version of the newly added seats for round 2. Over 500 seats have been added for the second round as a result of this.
In addition, the MCC has published the ‘clear vacancy’ list for round 2 of NEET UG counselling 2023.
Round 2 of the NEET UG 2023 selection process is now underway. Candidates can review the available courses and seats on the list and finish the selection procedure by August 15. The MCC will then process the seat allocation and announce the results on August 18.
Meanwhile, Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, announced in the Lok Sabha that the country currently has 704 medical colleges. Tamil Nadu has the most medical colleges in the country, with 74 medical colleges in the state. Karnataka is second with 70 medical colleges, while Uttar Pradesh is third with 68 medical colleges.
