Hyundai Venue is the third model in the Korean brand’s lineup to offer a Knight Edition, following Creta and Alcazar. Venue Knight Edition costs start at Rs 10.00 lakh and go up to Rs 13.48 lakh (both prices ex-showroom). The Venue Knight Edition is available in three different trim levels: S(O), SX, and SX(O).
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Exterior
Following tradition, the Venue Knight Edition features an all-black exterior look, including a black front grille, ORVMs, shark-fin antenna, skid plates, and alloy wheels/wheel covers. Hyundai’s Venue Knight Edition is available in four monochromatic and one dual-tone color combination: Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray, Fiery Red, and Fiery Red with Abyss Black.
In addition to the new color schemes, Hyundai offers cosmetic upgrades such as brass-colored inlays on the front and rear bumpers, front wheels, and roof rail; a Knight symbol; a Hyundai logo and Venue emblem coated in dark chrome, red front brake callipers, and body-colored door handles.
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Interior, features
The Venue Knight Edition’s cabin interiors match its look owing to an all-black cabin with brass-colored accents and special black seat upholstery. Sporty metal pedals and a 3D designer are also new elements. The Venue Knight Edition retains the same equipment save for the addition of a dashcam with dual cameras and automated IRVMs on top-spec models.
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition: Engine specs
The Venue Knight Edition is powered by two engines: a 1.2-liter Kappa normally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre GDi turbocharged petrol engine. The former produces 82 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque when combined with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The turbocharged engine, on the other hand, produces 118 horsepower and 172 Newton-meters of torque. A six-speed clutchless manual or a seven-speed DCT automatic gearbox handles transmission tasks.
