Hero MotoCorp has introduced the new Glamour 125cc motorcycle in India, with a price tag of Rs 82,348. The Hero Glamour is offered in two variants: Drum and Disc, with the latter costing Rs 86,348 ex-showroom. According to the business, the new Glamour is a ‘technologically sophisticated’ product in the 125cc market.
The front cowl and shrouds on either side of the gasoline tank remain on the new Hero Glamour, while the new chequered stripes add to the motorcycle’s sportiness. To improve comfort, the business has also decreased the saddle height by 8mm and expanded the seat space.
The new Hero Glamour has a fully digital instrument cluster with a real-time mileage meter, a low fuel warning, and an integrated USB charger. The new Glamour comes in three different colors: Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue-Black, and Sports Red-Black.
In terms of engine, the Glamour keeps the 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, but it is now OBD2 and E20-compliant. The engine produces 10.6bhp and 10.6Nm of torque, and the i3S (idle stop-start system) technology allows the motorcycle to get a mileage of 63kmpl.
Speaking on the launch of the new Glamour, Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer, India BU, Hero MotoCorp, said, “The introduction of the new Glamour will further strengthen the brand’s presence in the most competitive 125cc segment and help in improving market share. We are confident that the iconic Glamour in its new avatar will add to the growing appeal of our two-wheeler portfolio”.
