Toyota has officially announced the start of bookings for the new Toyota Rumion, as well as the costs. The MPV starts at Rs 10.29 lakh ex-showroom and comes in six trim levels. Toyota has stated that deliveries will begin on September 8th.

The 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine produces 102bhp and 137Nm of torque in this 7-seater MPV, while the CNG version produces 87bhp and 122Nm of torque. There are two transmission options: manual and torque converter automatic.
Inside, the new Toyota Rumion has a 7-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Toyota i-Connect, which allows users to remotely change the climate control and other functions, connected car tech, and other amenities. The interior of the MPV is two-tone with wood inlays.
The Rumion is equipped with dual front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, an engine immobilizer, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and other safety features. The Rumion will fight against its Maruti Suzuki siblings, the Ertiga and XL6, as well as the Kia Carens and others in the sector.
