Honda has launched the 2023 Hornet 2,0 in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.39 lakh. The redesigned Hornet receives visual upgrades as well as BSVI OBD2 compliance. The new Honda Hornet 2.0 comes in four different colors: Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
To begin with, the new Hornet retains its muscular appearance, headlamp assembly, and X-shaped tail lamp, but it receives fresh graphics to emphasize its sportiness. The short exhaust and split seats add to the Hornet’s sporty appearance.
The 2023 Hornet 2.0 is powered by a single-cylinder 184.4cc engine with 17bhp and 16Nm of torque, connected to a 5-speed gearbox and a slip and assist clutch. Honda claims a mileage of 40kmpl with the new 2023 Hornet 2.0.
The Hornet 2.0 is outfitted with USD front forks, a monoshock at the rear, alloy wheels, disc brakes on both ends with single-channel ABS, and a completely digital instrument cluster with adjustable brightness. The motorcycle is outfitted with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres.
The Honda Hornet 2.0 competes with other bikes in the category, notably the direct competitor, the TVS Apache RTR 180.
