TSimple Energy has announced the launch of the Simple Dot One electric scooter at Rs 1,39,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore). All clients will be able to make pre-bookings starting on 27th January, with priority going to existing customers to switch from Simple One to Dot One.
Pre-booking is available for Rs 1947 on the company’s official website. Simple Energy wants to serve a wider range of consumers nationwide with the introduction of the Dot One.
The Dot One, a sub-variant built on the Simple One’s platform, is available in a single configuration and has an IDC range of 160 kilometers with a single fixed battery. Comes in four colors: Grace White, Brazen Black, Namma Red, and Azure Blue, the Dot One comes with a 750W charger.
According to the company, the Dot One will also be available in LightX and BrazenX color variants as part of the first offering and in response to customer requests. The deliveries will start in Bangalore and move gradually to other cities.
The Dot One has an 8.5 kW electric motor and a 3.7kWh battery pack that allow it to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. CBS and both end disc brakes are safety measures. In addition, a touchscreen instrument cluster with app connectivity and 35 liters of under-seat storage are included with the scooter.
