Children with special needs (CWSN) can now use the online portal provided by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to access resources for the 2024 board exams. The CBSE’s “Pariksha Sangam” portal, parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in, requires all CBSE schools to enter the information of CWSN students who will be taking the board exams in 2024 and to update the status of those students.

The application window, which opened on January 19, will stay available until January 24 for users to upload files and complete the form.

“Requests sent earlier to the CBSE for availing exemptions by the schools will also be uploaded by the schools on web during the above said schedule. No request for exemption will be entertained after 24.01.2024 and in offline mode,” the board added.

“If the CWSN students desire to avail any facilities/exemptions permissible by CBSE during the examinations, the request for the same can be made by the concerned school through the web portal as it was done for last year,” CBSE said.

Schools will need to use their login ID and password to access the system. On the screen will be a list of all CWSN students currently enrolled in their respective schools, along with the facilities that each student category is allowed to use based on their impairment.

The schools will need to choose a choice, and the specifics will be included in the CBSE admission cards 2024, if the kids wish to use any of the facilities listed for the CWSN pupils. The superintendent of the exam center will also receive instructions from the board to make the required preparations for the CWSN students.
