Skoda has launched the Slavia Style Edition in India, in limited numbers, priced at Rs 19.13 lakh, ex-showroom. Based on the premium Style edition of the Slavia, which retails for Rs 30,000 more, this new variant is exclusive and will only be available in 500 pieces.
In addition to features like a dual dash camera, a “Edition” badge on the blacked-out B-pillars, and roof foil, the new Skoda Slavia Style Edition will be offered in Candy White, Brilliant Silver, and Tornado Red.
Powering the new Slavia Style Edition is the 1.5-litre TSI engine mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The engine makes 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, which is the same unit that powers its sibling from Volkswagen, the Virtus.
The Skoda Slavia competes with the Virtus, Hyundai Verna, Honda City, and the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the segment, and is the best-seller for Skoda in India.
