CBSE Board Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has instructed all school principals and superintendent of examination centres to ensure regular updates of the Online Exam Centre Management System (OECMS) portal during the ongoing Class 10 and 12 board exams 2024.
“It has been observed that many examination centres are still not updating the examination data in the OECMS portal despite the instructions issued in this regard,” the board issued a warning.
CBSE reaffirmed that the Integrated Payment System (IPS) will use the data on the OECMS portal to determine the amounts owed to different functionaries.
“You are aware that Board’s Annual Examinations have commenced w.e.f. 15/02/2024. This Examination is a gigantic exercise involving Lakhs of functionaries at various levels. Proper maintenance and online updation of records related to day-to-day examinations are of utmost importance for better management and supervision of examinations and also for payment of functionaries through IPS,” the board said in an official notice.
As for the CBSE, the class 10 exams ended on March 13. The results of the CBSE class 10 exams will probably be made public on the official website, cbse.gov.in, around May.
The date for holding the Class 10 practical test has also been extended by the board. By March 31, schools that have not yet administered the exams can. Schools have until March 31 to upload their internal assessment results, project work, and practical test results for the 2023–24 school year.
