While the Lok Sabha Elections will commence from April 19 and conclude on June 1, the National Testing Agency is confident that there will be no change in the exam schedule of the JEE Main 2024 session 2 exams and NEET UG 2024.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 2 will take place from April 4 to April 15, according to the previously published schedule. Exam dates were originally set for April 1–15, but for unspecified reasons, they had to be rescheduled.
Similarly, the application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) will open on March 18 and the test is slated to be administered on May 5.
The media has received confirmation from the NTA that JEE Main session 2 and NEET would go according to plan. Nonetheless, a senior NTA official stated, “We will attempt to complete the CUET schedule on time and will review it after registration is finished.
According to the original schedule, NTA will administer the CUET UG 2024 this year from May 15 to May 31, 2024, and the results will be made public three weeks after the last exam. City slips and admission cards will be made available starting on April 30 onwards, and the admit cards will be released in the second week of May 2024.
The UGC Chair, M Jagadesh Kumar, also took to ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the same.
NTA will conduct CUET-UG, as announced earlier, between May 15 and May 31, 2024. In this period, two dates overlap with the election dates on 20 and 25 May.
