NEET UG: How to make changes

Step 1: Visit the official website — neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: On the NEET UG homepage, candidates have to click on the correction window link.

Step 3: Enter the credentials such as application number, password, and security pin.

Step 4: Make the necessary corrections to the form according to the schedule given above.

Step 5: Save and submit the application.

Step 6: Download the window of the saved form for future reference.

It is important  to keep in mind that the Agency will not consider requests to amend the NEET UG application form after April 15. “Candidates are advised to do correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to candidates, since it is a one-time facility extended to them to avoid any hardships,” the NTA stated in a statement.

Only when any outstanding fees have been paid, if any, will final revisions for NEET UG applications be accepted. Candidates will be charged any extra fees if their gender, category, or PwD status changes and this has an impact on the fee amount. Kindly be advised that there will be no reimbursement for any unused funds.

Meanwhile, the NTA has also reiterated that the exam date for NEET UG 2024 will not be changed, even as the Lok Sabha elections take place.

— National Testing Agency (@NTA_Exams) April 9, 2024

“It has been reported to the National Testing Agency, (NTA) that there are messages circulating in social media, claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations conducted by NTA.

“The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumors and exercise their voting right. Voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations,” NTA said in an official notice.
