NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the city intimation slip for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate 2024 on April 24. Registered candidates will be able to check their city of examination centers at the official NTA website — exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
According to the official NTA schedule, the exam will be conducted on May 5, in pen and paper mode in 13 languages.
Steps to check NEET UG city slip, visit the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/ — click on the city slip link available on the home page, key in the required credentials (application number and date of birth) to log in, the city slip will be available on your screen, download it and save it for future references.
If any differences develop between the candidate’s data, photograph, or signatures on the NEET UG admission card, urgent action is required. Candidates should contact the NTA helpdesk between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Despite these concerns, candidates can still take the medical entrance test using the downloaded admission card. However, NTA promises that any necessary modifications will be made to the records later.
This time, 23 lakh people have enrolled for the exam, with more than 10 lakh being male, more than 13 lakh being female, and 24 being classified as ‘third gender’.
In 2021, NEET UG admission cards were released on September 6, with the exam taking place on September 12. Moving forward to 2022, the city slip was released on June 29, followed by the hall ticket on July 12, with the exam scheduled for July 17. Finally, in the previous year, the NEET UG city slip was released on April 30, followed by the admission card on May 4, just before the May 7 exam.
