CTET 2024 Correction Window: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today activated the correction window link on its official website for candidates who wish to change certain details in their application window. Candidates can make modifications to their registration forms on the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in. The CTET rectification window closes on October 25.
Candidates who registered for the exam and paid the fee can only make changes to the form’s editable parts.
CTET 2024: What can be edited?
In the CTET application form, not all but the Central Board has allowed only some of the sections that can be modified with a fee.
— Name of applicant, father, and mother
— Gender and nationality
— Date of birth, category and residential address
— Employment status
— Specially able categories can also be changed.
— Mobile number, and education
— Selected papers, paper 2 topic, and exam centre
— Languages of both papers 1 and 2
The CTET examination will take place on December 14; earlier it was scheduled for December 15 and before that it was scheduled for December 1
CTET 2024: Steps to edit
Step 1: Visit the office website — ctet.nic.in.
Step 2: Once CBSE activates the link, candidates can select the link and using login credentials can login.
Step 3: Once the login is done, candidates are advised to carefully edit the above-mentioned categories.
Step 4: Select the submit button and pay the requisite amount.
Step 5: Download the application form and receipt of the transaction.
CTET is held twice a year; the January exam was held on January 21. Of the total 26,93,526 candidates registering for the CTET January 2024 exam, 84% took the exam.
There is no limit to the number of attempts a candidate may undertake to obtain a CTET certificate. If an aspirant wishes to enhance their CTET exam scores, they may reapply whenever they like, as long as they remain eligible.
Passing the CTET exam qualifies a candidate to apply for central government teaching positions. Such candidates can apply to schools such as KVS, NVS, and Army, among others.
