Approximately 22% of the rejected beneficiaries would receive financial help in the third phase of the Subhadra initiative, which is set to be deposited to their bank accounts on November 24, according to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Saturday.
According to Parida, the state government has decided to re-verify the rejected applications. Beneficiaries whose applications were first denied will be added to the plan. Approximately 22% of these recipients will receive financial support in the third phase, which begins tomorrow.
“Tomorrow, 22% of the 2.67 lakh rejected beneficiaries will receive Rs 5,000 under the scheme. The remaining beneficiaries, who were excluded due to other reasons, will also be added to the scheme after verifying their reports at the block level. In addition to these beneficiaries, all Anganwadi workers will also receive their first installment of Subhadra Yojana in the third phase tomorrow. The government aims to cover 1 crore beneficiaries under the scheme by December this year. The fourth phase money of the scheme will be disbursed in December”, maintained Parida.
The Subhadra Yojana, introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to offer financial help to women recipients.
Over 60 lakh women beneficiaries have gotten financial help through the Subhadra Yojana in the first two stages of the first installment.
